Champions Trophy 2025, India's Withdrawal and the Pending Venue Decision

India has informed the International Cricket Council it will not travel to the Champions Trophy, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has written to the ICC asking for clarification on India's refusal to travel to Pakistan for the 2025 Champions Trophy, India has not travelled to Pakistan since so long because of the issues between both the nations. In it's letter to the ICC, the PCB has requested an official explanation regarding India's stance.

VENUE CHANGE

The official Champions Trophy 2025 schedule will be released on November 11, 2024. The decision on whether the matches will be moved to Dubai or remain in Pakistan is still pending. Fans and players alike are eagerly awaiting the final announcement from ICC.

REASON BEHIND

Due to tense political issues between both the countries, Inia has not travelled to Pakistan since 2008, when they played the Asia Cup over there. India has firmly held the stance of not travelling to Pakistan for the ICC Champions Trophy, citing 'security concerns'.
