ABOUT CHILD LABOUR
Child labour refers to the exploitation of children through any form of work that deprives them of their childhood and is harmful to their physical and mental development. There are nearly 152 million child labors the world over; most of them are driven by poverty. Children belonging to poor families have limited access to education due to inadequate infrastructure, insufficient resources and social discrimination. Such children often live in unhygienic and deprived conditions, due to this reason, children who are supposed to go to school are pushed towards labour instead of attending school.
