FIRE ALL AROUND IN LOS ANGELES

The Palisades Fire erupted Tuesday morning in Pacific Palisades, a Los Angeles neighborhood east of Malibu, as a brush fire. At least 24 people have died in the Los Angeles fires as two major blazes continue to burn across the sprawling Californian city. The rapid spread of these fires has been exacerbated by strong Santa Ana winds, with forecasts predicting gusts up to 70 miles per hour, creating "extremely dangerous fire weather conditions."

WHAT CAUSED FIRE IN L.A

Powerful winds have been largely to blame for turning wildfires that ignited last week into huge infernos that leveled whole neighborhoods around the city. The combination of dry air and warm weather has created a tinderbox-like environment, making it easier for fires to ignite and spread rapidly.
