Introduction
Playing in domestic cricket for both Uttar Pradesh and India is left-arm unorthodox spin bowler Kuldeep Yadav. In both the 2018 and 2023 India Cup winning squads, he played a key role. The fastest Indian spinner to 100 ODI wickets, the first Indian bowler to record two international hat-tricks, and the best wicket-taker for India at the 2018 Asia Cup are among the noteworthy accomplishments. He played his first Test match against Australia in 2017 and was given the nickname "Chinaman".
Early and domestic career
Raised in Kanpur and born in Unnao, Kuldeep Yadav's first ambition was to become a left-arm seamer, modeled after Wasim Akram and Zaheer Khan. Though he was inspired by Shane Warne, his coach Kapil Pandey developed him a wrist-spinner. Yadav overcame his desire to give up cricket after his selection for the U-15 team. In 2022, after playing for the Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Delhi Capitals, he won the most player-of-the-match honors.
International career
In 2017, Kuldeep Yadav created Test cricket history by becoming the first Indian left-arm wrist spinner and capturing four wickets in his debut. India's third ODI hat-trick (2017), first T20I five-for (2018) by a left-arm wrist spinner, and first Indian with two ODI hat-tricks (2019) are just a few of the firsts he has accomplished. Following a downturn, he bounced back to be the leading wicket-taker in India's 2023 Asia Cup victory. Test five-fors against the West Indies (2018) and Australia (2019) as well as an ODI six-for against England (2018) are among the noteworthy performances.
