5M STRD tokens will be airdropped by Stride to holders of stTIA.

Over a 150-day period, Stride will airdrop 5 million STRD tokens, worth $18 million, to holders of stTIA tokens. The goal is to further the idea of turning stTIA into "modular money." This action tackles the difficulties proof-of-stake tokens such as ATOM have in obtaining on-chain applications in the Cosmos ecosystem.

The goal of Stride is to become the official Liquid Staking Token (LST) protocol for Cosmos Hub. Edmunds believes that Celestia's TIA token has potential, highlighting that it is "secure, neutral, airdrop-inclusive liquid-staked" and that this will lead to more on-chain usage. One of Stride's biggest airdrops will be the 5 million STRD one, which represents 5% of the total supply. It's simple to be eligible: all you need to do is possess stTIA tokens on DEX or Stride.

The Stride blockchain is exclusive at first, then on February 5 it will be joined by the Osmosis and Neutron blockchains. Liquidity pools that are whitelisted are also eligible for the airdrop.

A 150-day airdrop for Celestia's modular data availability network has begun. 50,000 STRD are distributed per day to stTIA holders in places that qualify for the first phase, which lasts 60 days.

The next ninety-day period allots 22,222 STRD each day. Users can start immediate vesting and make claims 180 days following allocation. Tokens that remain unclaimed following the 90-day claim period are returned to the community pool, which is managed by Stride.

Understanding Jupiter’s tokenomics ahead of its first airdrop although Stride cannot guarantee continued eligibility for airdrops to TIA stakers, Edmunds notes that Stride contributors “are committed to securing as many airdrops as possible for stTIA holders and are already in contact with many teams planning to airdrop to TIA stakers to help get stTIA included.”

The team will also provide regular snapshots of stTIA holders to projects on its website to ensure that stTIA holders can be included in future airdrops.
