Synopsis

"Known for commercials, Chalk & Cheese made its feature debut with this picture, which was produced by Petit Chaos, Chalk & Cheese Films, and others. Among the funding sources were Arte and Cineworld. Twenty-five days were spent in Mumbai and fifteen days in Ratnagiri filming."

Release

"All We Imagine as Light" made its world premiere on May 23, 2024, at the Cannes Film Festival, where it was vying for the Palme d'Or. This makes Kapadia the first Indian female filmmaker to have her film in the main competition since Swaham in 1994.
