This update brings exciting news for Bitcoin users – the integration of Native SegWit Bitcoin wallets into the built-in Brave Wallet. This addition allows users to benefit from lower transaction fees and improved error detection compared to other Bitcoin wallet types.

Furthermore, Brave Wallet now boasts broader compatibility by supporting various Bitcoin address formats, including Legacy, Nested SegWit, Native SegWit, and Taproot, ensuring seamless interaction with third-party wallets. This move coincides with the growing adoption of Bitcoin by institutional investors, evidenced by the recent approval of multiple Bitcoin ETFs in the US.
