Controversies

Five Members of Parliament accused Chadha on August 8, 2023, of fabricating their approval to forward the Delhi NCR Amendment Bill to the Select Committee. As a result, on August 11th, he was suspended for "Gross Violation of Rules" from the Rajya Sabha. Until the privilege committee makes a ruling, the suspension will stay in place.
