ABOUT UNIVERSE

Universe is totality of everything . It comprises of all energy, physical matter and time. The distance in universe is measured in light year. The S.I unit of light year is 9.46 trillion kilometres (9.46*1012 km). Largest satellite of universe is Genymede (Jupiter). Earth has one natural satellite that is Moon. Mars has two natural satellites that is Phobos & Demos. A celestial body moving in an elliptical oribit around a star is known as planets.

ANATOMY OF SUN

When the sun makes the revolution around the galaxy it is known as Galactic revolution. Which we makes around the sun it is Solar revolution. Sun is not situated in the center of galaxy but it is situated in the center of our solar system. It's about 5 billion years old. Photosphere is the surface of the sun. Made up of extremely hot gases such as hydrogen, helium & other metals.

LATITUDES & LONGITUDES

Latitudes- It can be defined as the angular distance measured from the center of the earth to any point on the earth surface. There are total 181 latitudes. It specify climate of any particular place. Longitudes- It's middle angular line is known as Prime Meridian. Total 360 longitudes. All longitudes are equal.
